We offer several competition teams at Star Struck Ballroom, welcoming both new and experienced dancers ages 4-18.
PEE WEE
Our Pee Wee Team is the perfect introduction to the world of ballroom dance for our youngest stars.
Designed for dancers ages 4–9 with no prior experience, this team focuses on building coordination, musicality, and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment.
Dancers will learn foundational steps, performance skills, and teamwork through upbeat routines.
It’s all about creating a love of dance while shining on stage!
Ages 4-9
PRE TEEN
The Pre Teen Team is an exciting entry point for dancers ages 10–12 who are ready to explore ballroom dance—no experience required.
This team focuses on developing strong fundamentals, performance quality, and confidence in a supportive team setting.
Dancers will learn a variety of styles while building technique and stage presence.
It’s the perfect place to grow skills, make friends, and discover a passion for performing.

Junior Starlettes
Junior Starlettes is a dynamic all-girls team for dancers ages 12–15 who are ready to elevate their training and performance.
This team emphasizes strong technique, precision, and expressive performance while fostering confidence and leadership.
Dancers will train in multiple ballroom styles and perform high-energy, polished routines.
It’s a place to push limits, build lasting friendships, and truly shine on stage.
Ages 15-18
Senior Starlettes
Senior Starlettes is our premier all-girls team for dancers ages 15–18, designed for those ready to perform at a high level.
This team focuses on advanced technique, artistry, and powerful stage presence.
Dancers are challenged to refine their skills, develop confidence, and perform with precision and passion.
Senior Starlettes represent the studio with excellence, leadership, and a strong sense of team culture.
Youth Showdance
Ages 12-15
The Youth Showdance Team is all about storytelling, creativity, and high-impact performance.
Open to dancers ages 13–18, this team blends ballroom technique with theatrical elements to create visually exciting routines.
Dancers will develop performance quality, versatility, and emotional expression while working as a cohesive team.
It’s perfect for those who love to entertain and bring energy to the stage.
(Note: We have Showdance PINK which is an audition-based placement and Showdance BLUE which is open enrollment.)
Ages 15-18
Youth Latin MedLey
The Youth Latin Medley Team brings energy, rhythm, and style to the stage through a mix of vibrant Latin dances.
An audition-based team ages 13–18, this team focuses on technique, musicality, and dynamic performance across styles like cha cha, samba, and jive.
Dancers will build strength, confidence, and sharp execution while performing fast-paced, engaging routines.
It’s a high-energy experience that challenges top tier dancers, develops grit, and keeps audiences captivated.
