At Star Struck Ballroom, everything begins with a simple belief: every dancer deserves a place to feel seen, supported, and inspired to shine.
Fred and Mary are a dynamic husband-and-wife duo who bring ballroom to life for dancers of all ages—but more importantly, they’ve built a studio rooted in connection, confidence, and community.
Fred has over 16 years of coaching experience, specializing in Latin and Standard technique, and is known for his approachable, motivating teaching style. He has a gift for meeting dancers exactly where they are and helping them grow—not just as performers, but as individuals.
Mary brings both artistry and heart to the studio. With 7 years of ballroom costume design experience, 3 years of coaching, and active involvement in the competitive mixed-am circuit, she understands firsthand what it takes to step onto the floor with confidence. Her creative vision helps dancers not only look the part, but truly feel it.
But Star Struck was built on more than experience—it was built on purpose.
Fred and Mary set out to create the kind of environment they felt was often missing: a space where dancers of all ages and levels feel safe, welcomed, and valued. A place where hard work is celebrated, individuality is embraced, and every student—whether they’re dancing for fun or chasing big goals—has a place to belong.
They believe dance should build confidence, friendships, and lifelong memories. That it should challenge you, uplift you, and give you a sense of pride every time you step onto the floor.
Together, they lead Star Struck Ballroom, a Centerville-based studio known for its strong teams, positive culture, and vibrant, show-stopping performances.
